This is a characteristic waterfall on a high Pennine Beck with a limited acidic flora at the head of a small ravine cut through Namurian Sandstones. |

| Additional Notes | This rowan is the only tree here. This is usual at high level sandstone sites where rowan and sallows are often the only tree species present.
There appear to be two trees here but close examination shows that they probably rise from one old bole.
